What does a "life of purpose" mean to you?: Living a life of purpose means acknowledging that I have a place.  I desire to live a life of service and surrender my heart, mind and soul to His plan.

How you ended up serving in China: My senior year at UC Davis, I heard someone speak about the opportunity in China. I have always been interested in living and working abroad and teaching is my profession of choice. After lots of prayer and courage building, I picked up my shovel, dug my way to China, and found myself here!

What you love about being there: I love the open and sincere spirit that the people of China share. I have made some incredibly valuable friendships because so many people are honest and eager to share their lives with me. I feel privileged and honored to be working here; I simply love those around me and they love me back!

How you have seen God work: I have been strengthened in my trust in His plan for my life. He has shown me that He is in control of the universe and holds it carefully and wisely in his loving hands. In China, I have experienced the authenticity of His greatness and personal love for me. I have been inspired and encouraged to continue to rest in Him and simply be His daughter.
